How big could the vandy game turn out to be

GGGG

Probably the same size as any game looks on my television.

What if you buy a new, bigger TV after the Vandy game?  Would that cost us a seed line?

Benny B

If I moved the projector back, I could probably make it as big as 12'x7', but then my kids' kindergarten pictures will be on the court.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

It's the biggest game of the year.

Until Saturday.

I'm confident it will be bigger on my living room tv then on my iPad......

I will have two, I tell you, two Sonoran Salsas going

At this point, impossible to say. If we go 25-5, it's not that big. If we go 18-12, it's immense. Had we beat Belmont last year, we would have likely gone to the NIT.

Vandy, like us, is expected to be in the hunt for a NCAA berth. Personally, I think losing two NBA picks will be too much for them to weather, but the expectation is still there. Beating a team like this could determine seeding come March or determine inclusion. But at this point, no way to know just how big it is.

One different decision, and 13-14 could have been the team Vander-bilt

On an unrelated bad pun note:

I think it is really huge and that is the same way I think about the Big East opener against Georgetown. Start out the season (conference) on a positive or start out the season (conference) behind the 8 ball. Losing does not end our chance for success, but it does not bode well and gives us a smaller margin of error.

Ha.ha.  Like the Vander Built line.

It's not an exact science.

It's more art than science.  Maybe a little extra study time at Art's will help you out.

I think a win would be big, just for confidence.  As Brew said, depending on how the year shakes out, it could end up being a big game at the end of the season.

I think MU needs to go at a minimum 2-3 against Vandy, Michigan, SMU/PITT, Georgia and Wisconsin.  Losing to Vandy will make that more difficult, so I will go ahead and say its a pretty game as far as lid lifters go.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

It's bigly

All kidding aside, the games against Vandy, Michigan and Pitt/SMU are very important as they are likely competition for bubble spots. We lose more than one and it makes the bubble effort that much harder

If we could get 3/4 of 4/4 of those games that would be great

It's biggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!

I believe this game will tell us a lot about the upcoming season.

This game is like Trump's feet. Bigger than his hands, but on the other hand (foot??), we'll all be better if we don't hear about it ever again.

Does Riley Lachance go off on MU?  Hit some of those should-have-recruited-me three pointers?

(Yes, I know it was Bazz and not Wojo, but still)
