We R Final Four

Did they actually play any basketball at Madness or was it only a film premiere/fashion event?

If so, can anybody in attendance provide a recap?

Rowsey looked great..........everyone else either looked like they did last year or freshmen.
Heldt looks much slimmer. Kaitlin looks like he will chuck it up similar to Carlino.
Traci turned it over several times. Luke had some cheap fouls. Sam is a big boy. Marcus is super smooth.
Rowsey was the best player on the floor last night.

94Warrior

Rowsey, Howard and Hauser were splashing 3s in the 3 point contest.  As for the scrimmage, the only thing of note was that Luke is poised for a huge senior year.  I hate to think what this team might be with Henry.  I won't ever say that again, I promise.

I'm not surprised, you don't average 20 PPG on accident. That transfer was highly under publicized. Let's hope this means less Traci carter on the floor. Marquette is likely going to outscore teams to win.

Nobody else really said it: The new Pray video is bad. I'm not sure how they messed it up, but it's lacking all the emotion of the first one.

Moved way too slowly to have the same effect.

Jerseys are great, I agree about the flag and personally I won't be wearing one until I'm back in shape which I'm sure is what most people are thinking due to the cut.

The pray video was great but moved slowly, they definitely could have cut it down a little bit.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Good call, though in general, the only place a grown man should ever wear a basketball jersey is when he is on a basketball court and playing basketball. Or maybe, maybe if they are a musician on stage or making a music video. Even that is questionable. No other reasons are valid for grown men to wear those. Buy them, frame them, display them, but they are not casual clothing ever.

I've got two instances: At the Beach, some of us have very very light skin. I'd also say spirit day at work

At the beach, only if playing beach volley ball. A tank top would be better though, both casually and for beach volleyball. Spirit day, only if you have something on under it.

As far as wearing jerseys on grown men, basketball is pretty much never acceptable, football/soccer/baseball are only acceptable to wear to the game or to a game-watching event (bar, party, etc), and only hockey is acceptable for regular, casual wear.

I suppose you could also get away with a NASCAR race suit just about any time, but only because it's so unlikely and bizarre that how can you mess with that? ;D

No he's not. But the difference between that one and this one is simple - that team had Final Four aspirations, this one will be happy to sniff the last 4 in

I'd agree but switch Soccer and hockey.

Personally I think lingerie football jerseys are acceptable casual wear

So you are saying that MU intentionally made a slower paced video because the team doesn't have Final Four aspirations?

Is this the actual video they are showing pre-game?  Or is this a one-off thing they did for the 100th anniversary?

I think the key word here, is Simple.

I liked it more the second time I watched it on my computer at home.  The sound in the AL is not great, so it didn't capture the effect as well.  The BC should be better.

But...why did Jerel say "you will know that today is not your day" when the original line "you will know that you messed up" is so much cleaner?

Also, the original video had each of the 5 starters say Pray at the end.  They cut that down to three, which didn't feel like enough.  And they were slowwwww...

Hopefully the coaches are able to rein that in.

I think wearing a jersey to a game is always appropriate.

I'm talking specifically male fashion. Women have far more leeway to casually wear jerseys.

Not a basketball jersey. Simple reality is 99% of the people that wear them casually don't have the physique to get away with wearing them casually. The other 1% is Mark Wahlberg, LL Cool Jay, and 2Pac, and 2Pac's dead. That's what t-shirts and sweatshirts were invented for.

No, I'm saying the video is fine,  but it lacks the emotion that we associated with the first one. That one brought cols because of the expectations for that team

My guess is that the lack of chills for this one is more about it being a "repeat" of a previous theme.

I got chills when Bo Ellis said "Pray" really anytime the former players were in the video was really cool.
