Article on STjr family
« on: September 11, 2016, 03:46:01 PM »
A very interesting article on Demetrius Cooper, football playing brother of STjr. A nice mention of STjr and his good character toward the end of the article.

If Steve would have red shirted his sophomore year and fully recovered from the knee surgery , I wonder how things would have turned out for him and MU.

Nice story-'I wish them(Steve and Demetrius) all the success in the world.  too bad stevo didn't work out here.  I always liked his presence but he just never seemed to match his ability to his size and the system.

After reading that story , and watching some recent interviews with STjr, I think things are working out for the best for him. He has had a year to get totally healthy and work on his game. He will be a key player on a team that should be one of the challengers for the MAC title. He will graduate and go on to positive things. He enjoyed his time at Marquette and got a lot out of the school. I always hope for the best for our alumni.

STjr's a darn fine young man.  He fit in very well at Marquette and made many friends on campus.  He took his studies seriously.  As a community, we wish he and his family nothing but the best.

He also loved Sobelmans and The Broken Yolk.
