Now that school is starting and this years team is set, how many games do you think we will win this year ?

Maybe I am optimistic, but I voted 19.

I base it on the following:

1) We're much more experienced this year. Our guys have a year's college under their belts and have adjusted (we hope) to the college level Big east game.

2) Wojo's thumbprint is more fully on this team. The players to run his system are in place or fully transitioned (JJJ).

3) We're hoping our team plays defense this year, keeping Big Fishy out of foul trouble.

4) We're a lot deeper on the bench than we have been since the Hillbilly left.

Again, maybe I'm in left field but 19 ought to get us in the NCAA.

19 with this schedule will probably get them in as long as they are 9-9 in the Big East

19 wins this season would be a helluva lot more impressive than 20 wins last season. Who you beat matters more than how many you beat.

Agreed.  Highly doubt we get in with 19.  Furthermore, I would be incredibly disappointed with that.

No more analysis than that's (at a minimum) what I hope the boys do. So sick of watching mediocre cbb.  Hopes are high.

19 wins, provided at least 9 come in conference, would get us in. Our non-con is much better this year and won't have the drags of last year. Give us a 9-9 Big East record in what will likely be a better league than last year and a 10-2 record in non-con and we're dancing. If we go 3-2 against Wisconsin, @ Georgia, Michigan, SMU/Pitt, and Vandy and win the rest of our non-con games we'll be in excellent shape.
