Goal is National Championship

Looks like the bball players also get some cheap party favor. Not idea what it is, but the Spaniards just got handed some stupid knick knack

Didn't see much of the game, but I watched a few minutes and saw one offensive possession where JFB got 3 offensive boards and kicked them out to open guys until Lowry finally hit a 3.  JFB!

That article from 2012 is interesting but it seems to leave out Wade's gold in 2008.
I remember in 1976 when Butch Lee and Puerto Rico almost beat the US.

It's great to have MU alumni competing with the world's best. I would think that having Butler and Wade in Chicago has to help with recruiting Illinois, as well.

I have no idea if their NBA commitments would allow but to have Jimmy and Dwyane drive up for Madness with their medals would be fantastic.

Edit: I just looked it up.  In theory it's possible.  They play at Indiana on Thursday and home against Indiana on Saturday night in preseason action where both will get minimal minutes.
