Need a lot more votes to qualify for a ringer.

Let'd do this scoop....get them to 2,000 votes.  Only need another 700 or so.  Nothing like a scoop campaign to see us add the ringer!!

Here is the link to vote:

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I haven't voted yet, and I'm good for at least 50-100 votes by myself.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Ew, those things are hideous. The white ones looked better.

Those ugly azz things on the left shoulder ruin any chance of it being cool.

I don't think the TBT logo is that bad... ;)

GGGG

Those uniforms look like were designed by a high schooler looking back at various historic uniforms and cobbling them together with no sense of context.

So is there no round robin?

It's just sudden death style eh? I like it. Let's win.

Yah the unis could definitely be better, but I still like them.

It's better than the school's golden eagles logo. Wish they could've put Marquette on it but there's probably a licensing issue
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

So what's the deal with this. I'm out of the loop. Who are the alums playing against?
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Clearly it's going to be Ners.
The question is, will Derrick pass to him?
That. Was awesome.

Yeah you're right.  I still don't understand that concept apparently.

So with the additions to the Tourney team this week including Derrick, let's start to play Coach Diener and postulate the lineup, bench rotation, etc.  It's almost gametime.  Do we know their opponents yet?  Do we need a new '----- is Evil' thread yet?  Too bad we'll be out of town for that opening weekend.

Alright, sorry to be the guy who asks, but what is this thread about? I see a lot of MU guys from good years being mentioned and im just curious  =)

I cruised through the brackets and recognized some obvious alumni teams but there seems to be a lot of club(?), non affiliated (?), random allstar (?) teams.  It looks entertaining, but i also don't get "the deal" with it.

In short...

The Basketball Tournament is an annual 64-team tournament. Teams can be put together by just about anyone, but often are alumni teams (as ours is), regional teams, or sometimes overseas competitors. It's single elimination, winner take all, and the winners split $2,000,000.

There are no current NBA players, so it's made up mostly of fringe D-League guys, European players, and former college players. Marquette's team is a mix of guys that have played in the NBA, D-League, and overseas. They start play next month in Chicago and will be trying to get to the Final Four in hopes of taking home the $2M.

Herman Cain

I am very enthusiastic about any MU related team especially one that has Davante Gardner and DJO on it. Looking for a big performance from both.

DJO probably my favorite player of the past decade. Criminally underrated.

Bad choice of words?

ChitownSpaceForRent

Alright, I'll bite. Let's have some fun with depth charts.

PG: Buycks/Acker/D Will
SG: DJO/Carlino/Chapman
SF: Jerel/Lockett
PF: Milly/Burke
C: Ox/Jackson

That's a pretty fun team. Jerel could also move over to the 2 with Lockett taking the 3 for a very good defensive lineup.
