Buddy is an Arizona Wildcats fan and he was bragging with UA's tweets that UA has 32 NBA Finals appearances and a total of 20 NBA rings (coaches included).

So where does MU stand?

I think Butch won with LAL.
Maurice with Portland.
DWade has three.
Doc has one?

Chones won one with the Lakers.  He was the guy who actually did most of the work in the "Magic played center" game when Kareem was hurt back in 1980.

Doc has one as a coach, but none as a player.

That's correct for just wins, but he would count for 3 appearances. 08 and 10 as coach of the Celtics and 94 on the Knicks, even though he was on injured reserve.

During World War II, Winter attended Marquette as a member of the United States Navy's V5 Cadet program.
