Awful move in my opinion.  Maybe former Marquette 1977 champion Jim Boylan will take over?  No replacement has been announced.

I agree.  Skiles had a mishmash of "off" talent that didn't allow him much in terms of match-up advantages.  Great skills coach in a players' league, though.  I would like to see JB get it in the interim, but it will only be that.  Some spec it will be Carlisle.  The fact they didn't name JB right off in the press conference when Pax and Reinsdorf met face to face with Skiles leads me to believe they have some one else in mind.  Maybe some trades are in the works too.  Kidd?

Latest on this...Stein thinks JB in the interim.  Who knows, maybe Trevor?  He has some time...

once the bulls find a new coach, maybe the bears should try too

According to the Score John Paxon will be interviewing Jim Boylan today to take over the head coaching spot.  Pete Meyers (who you may remember from the Bulls championship teams) will be the interm coach.

I love the Bulls, but sorry man you gotta get your facts right.  Myers never won a championship with the Bulls.  I've never really liked him because he was MJ's 'replacement' - if you want to call him that - during the first retirement and basically failed at even coming close to a decent player.  hahaha...it's no big deal...I just really disliked him trying to fill MJs shoes.  He was an awful player, imo.  An OK coach, but an awful player.

and the Packers.......

20-11 in just under 2 seasons and a first round bye--with the league's youngest team AND $25million in cap space--not enough for ya?

Humm I could have sworn Meyers was there for the first championship of the second three peat but you're right!  Missed it by a year!  Must be thinking of Dickie Simpkins!
