Big Daddy 84

Fellow Warriors I put myself on a ban from this site until I was able to apologize to someone in person. I inadvertently shared some information in a recent post, right after the banquet,  that I did not realize was "off the record".  It caused a firestorm and put a friend of mine in the line of fire.  I have always been careful not to take advantage of anyone and I did so without realizing it.

I have rectified that issue and my apology has been accepted, but I remain disappointed in myself by the problem I caused.  From now on I am going to get an affirmative that is ok to share, versus holding info only if I am told not to.  I am not sure what the impact of this decision will be, but it is what I feel compelled to do.

To that end I can share this.

Young is still the top target and there is a focus on getting a commitment by Thursday.  Having "bigs" that will stay 4 years and develop is a a good idea.

JJJ and Wojo are not at odds.  JJJ plans to be one of the "faces of the program" next year.

DW's focus will be on the wing only.

Matt Heldt fully cleared.

For those that live in outside of Milwaukee and may not get to interact with the players at all I want to share this info as well:

Sacar and Traci are just damn funny kids.  To see a Philly Kid and a Minnesota kid get along so well is really fun.  Also Traci is headed home right after school for a few weeks, so no rumors that he is not coming back.  He will be back for summer school.  He also plans to start his "education" of Marcus Howard at that time (yes he has lot's to learn too).  He sees this as a great opportunity for Marcus and himself, no animosity.

Sacar is the most outgoing player on the team and he is a workout "warrior".

If you want to know why Hanni is who he is, it is because of his mom; Ingrid is a very special person.  His focus this off season: 1a) Get stronger 1b) Improve right hand.

Luke Fischer may not play in the NBA...but you would want your daughter to date him (no he is not eligible).  He wants to have a great year, may not be the most vocal leader... but does all the other things leaders do.  He reminds me of a young Robin Yount in his demeanor. I am not able to share anything on his injury at this time.

GGGG

Thank you.

I think it was fairly obvious to most that JJJ and Wojo were getting along just fine.  People with agendas were just making stuff up.

T-Bone

Thanks always for the update.
Nice to hear that side of the players as young-adults/kids.  Too often we (myself included) look at their performance and forget the person.

I'll wait for Heisenberg to approve this post before commenting further, but I will say I'm glad you got things worked out with the person who was affected.

Thanks Big Daddy.  Your info is always valued and respected.

Well if there is going to be a dearth in bb news from you moving forward, BD, I guess we'll just have to content ourselves with your recommendations for the best western food in Ulaanbaatar.
So let's have it!

I still use a flip phone so not sure what click bait is, so I will say no.  I also use my Casio 1600 Data Bank watch from 1990, best $12 ever spent at Shopko

Best restaurant,   The Yak Restaurant in Kathmandu, no I get a chicken dish there not Yak.  There is also  Yak Restaurant in Mobile, AL that is pretty darn authentic.

Thanks, BD.  Sorry to hear about your situation.  I hope you were able to clear things up with your friend.  You have always maintained a very high level of integrity and respect when sharing news - I hope all were understanding and all has been forgiven.

No worries, I've accepted BD apology and we are squared away. Our relationship has grown from this

Didn't make it when I was down there. It's on the short list after the dude that suggested we go to Wash House told us about it. Definitely planning on heading back to Fairhope for a week next February with the lady (helps us get through the winter).

Seriously loved it around there. Most relaxing trip I've had in a long time.

You made my day 68,  good thing you were not born a year later or graduated a year later or what ever made you a 68....and not +1

Thanks, BD. Good to hear about the "kids".

I absolutely hate the threads that speculate on transfers from MU from those with no clue about what is going on, so hopefully your post will put that nonsense to bed.
