Luke Fischer out with left arm injury

On Friday afternoon, Marquette announced via Twitter that center Luke Fischer, who will enter his senior year in the fall, suffered a left arm injury in open gym this week and will miss extended workout time in the spring.

Marty V is doing a great job in the off season. I think we all can agree on that....even Heisy.

Can Luke get a medical redshrit? I know that isn't likely but is it even possible?

I know this is Scoop, so should there be a "boot" on his arm instead?

Yep, he posted a video on his instagram account and it looks to be either a broken wrist or forearm.  Hopefully he heals up quickly.

He could still redshirt actually.

Imagine Luke red shirting next year and us not being able to pick up another big (even if we did), ouch

Why imagine something that's not going to happen?

OK ... never mind ... I imagine myself with Jessica Alba quite often.

Me and Jessica hookin' up is slightly more likely to happen than this injury causing Luke to redshirt.

Right, so that would be awesome for you I'm sure, and would suck if we had only one center.  What's your point?

My point is that I find it silly to imagine things that are unlikely to happen.

I know it's what we do on Scoop all the time, though. But imagine if we didn't.

Looks like another of those years. If he comes back this year what are the chances he will be 100%?

May 14th, right?

This was my thought.  I was afraid I missed several months of my life.
