Deadspin...so sad since Gawker bought them.

Has Gawker not always owned them?

The most notable phrase in that entire series or playoffs, for that matter, is "bloody sock".  It was a total douche move on their part.

It was the defining moment.  The Boston Globe called it "the SIGNATURE MOMENT"

I would argue the defining moment was the Dave Roberts steal. I also think that for as great a visual/moment/phrase the bloody sock was, it's till just one component of one game of one round.

Regardless, getting upset about the choice they made when editing a years-old documentary one time for time constraints on a Sunday afternoon sets a very low bar for what is considered upsetting. You have points about the Schilling situation (I disagree with them, but I get it), but this just seems so irrelevant.

Well, it comes across as incredibly petty by ESPN, and a lot of folks in Boston weren't happy for obvious reasons.  Some were.

I'll give you that.
