Very confident. If nothing else, consider the other options...

1) Arizona State: He committed to Stan Johnson, who left. Didn't bother taking an additional visit though he could have.

2) Baylor: His lead recruiter left to go to Arkansas State. Basically the reason he would have committed is gone.

3) Central Arkansas: Okay, if he goes there, he does, but it's still the 11th best team in the low-major, 29th ranked conference in the country.

As far as how he does, we'll see. I'm sure someone else has a better comparison, but he reminds me of Scottie Reynolds, Not really a point, can score reliably at multiple levels, likely a better collegiate player than pro.

If he is anywhere close to Scottie Reynolds if Marquette lands him the next 4 years are gonna be a lot of fun. I wouldn't jump on the Reynolds bandwagon yet, I think people forget how much of a stud that kid was. One of my favorite ever college players.

Speaking of Nova guards, I see a little bit of Brunson in his game too.

If one looks at the picture and considers the ASU display, things are obvious.... Markus to MU.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Yeah that's what I think too. The effort to point out all of the MU stuff in that tweet really shows pride in MU.

I am not arguing he will go there, but if he is as good as people here are saying Central Arkansas would probably be the best team in the conference instead of the 11th best team.

Should have clarified. He tweeted tonight that his brother would be making the video. I would copy/paste but I'm on my phone

Good call MuEagle, I didn't see that tweet you were definitely right.

Win or loss, atleast we know tomorrow already

Bingo.  I feel great about our chances.  ASU and Baylor make little sense now.  More than anything, I think his relationship with his brothers is so strong I could see them/Jordan getting excited about making a cool video that is NOT a commitment to UCA.  Just seems like a solid family who has each other's best interests in mind.  Can't wait for tomorrow.

P.S.  I watched the end of Findlay Prep's game and Howard looked devastated - easily the most bummed on the team about losing.  Could lead you to believe he knows it was his last HS bball game.

It sure looks like MU is struggling a little bit in recruiting, I think Howard is really a big get for them right now.  Hauser, Howard and Rowsey can make up for the loss
of HE, still need one big somewhere if possible.  More concern for MU, is how they are recruiting for 2017 with the loss of Fisher and JJJ.  Will need 2 bigs next year
and at least one small forward.  I do not think there is much in Wisconsin next year.  Obviously, a few in 2018.

Was watching the dicks sporting goods high school basketball championship on ESPN today. They ran a graphic of the top five Junior point guards in the country. Howard was listed as fifth, number 32 overall.

The addition of Markus and were sporting another Top 20 class. Add a 4 star big when HE announces and it's borderline Top 10.  That's more blue blood than struggle m

Wojo is definitely on the right path.  It's a process...

I sure hope Markus is wearing a Marquette hat in a video tomorrow!

Nothing groundbreaking here but I asked Jerry Meyer for his thoughts...

@jerrymeyer247 How confident are you in your Markus Howard to Marquette CB pick? Think he'll reclassify to 2016? Announcing tomorrow.

Is he planning on some kind of formal "hat dance?"

If so, when and will it be streamed?

Sounds like he will be tweeting out a pre made video at an unannounced time tomorrow

How on earth does it look like MU is struggling in recruiting?

Lets see, he was after Damion Lee, Shonn Miller, Darrell Willis, Bruno Fernandez, for starters,  he is really trying hard for a ton of kids now, which means
besides Howard,  not sure if anybody is interested.  Heard very little about 2017.  I would say if he does not get Howard, he will be struggling.    How do you see
it?

If you expect a coach to never miss on a recruit, you're going to be disappointed.

If you expect a coach to never miss on a recruit, you're going to be disappointed.

If you get 1 out of 10 you are probably doing good, if Howard does commit, it probably puts Wojo at a solid B.  If Bailey was playing next year, maybe A-, but without
one player with some muscle, this team looks rather small next year.  Fisher is not Ocefu and Cohen is not Jenkins, but will have to play like him.
