The No. 10/13 Marquette men's basketball team continues its season-long five-game homestand Friday night at 7:30 p.m. when the squad hosts Coppin State at the Bradley Center. The Golden Eagles will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak and improve to 6-0 at home on the year. Time Warner Sports will produce and broadcast the matchup live, with Dennis Krause (play-by-play) and Jeff Nix (analyst) calling the action. Marquette leads the all-time series with the Eagles 4-0, having claimed a 65-55 victory (Dec. 29, 2004) over CSU in the most recent matchup.

Offensive Attack Very Consistent In December
Through the first nine games of the season Marquette is allowing opponents to net an average of 63.6 points per game, which is more than acceptable considering the team's consistent offensive production this month.

For the season the Golden Eagles are netting 80.3 points per contest and in each of the last three games the team has done it's best to hit that number.

MU collected 81 points in the win at Wisconsin, 82 against Sacramento State and 80 versus IPFW Monday night. In the last three outings, the squad is shooting 48.9 percent (89-of-182) from the field.

The team concluded 2006-07 averaging 71.9 points per game and since the inception of the 3-point shot in 1986-87, the highest single-season average the Golden Eagles have posted was 78.5 points per game in 2002-03.
