Except not being ready to play in the NBA physically, hardly getting off the bench next year, traded in the offseason to a team that doesn't give a rats ass about it him, and finding himself in the D league or in street clothes for most games.  It happens to top 15 picks every year.

Those poor, poor lottery picks. And to add to the disappointment and humiliation,  they go home and do this every night:

Have some patience, FFS.

Actual Breaking News - Henry Ellenson is gone. Hearing from SMs on the team. Don't know any details about an agent, so I don't know if he hired one or not, but this source makes it official for me. You heard it here FIRST. 743rd

Indeed. I've heard money makes a poor mattress and doesn't hold body heat very well. A shame the poor young men aren't educated about this before declaring.

Is that what you're telling yourself as you look in the mirror after starting this thread? :)

Shaka was on campus, at the AL.

I also broke Vander leaving and no one believed me. I still owe someone a picture, I think.

Shaka was never on campus.

Yes you broke Vander. You can now and "I broke news that was 100% certain all along" to your email signature.

"A Plan? Oh man, I hate plans. That means were gonna have to do stuff. Can't we just have a strategy......or a mission statement."

Just because Shaka wasn't named the HC doesn't mean he wasn't on campus.

You are correct, the reason he wasn't on campus was because........he wasn't on campus.

He wasn't on campus, because Shaka Smart doesn't even really exist.
He's just a spook story coaches tell their recruits at bedtime.
"Don't ask for your release, kid, or Shaka Smart will getcha..."

I actually joined twitter two weeks before the shaka smart fiasco. Idiots like you posting nonsense with delusional certainty drove me away. HE WAS NEVER ON CAMPUS!!

Now you're "breaking" the Henry story? Gather yourself.

I just heard word from a very reliable inside source that Rowsey is indeed staying at Marquette! Also, the same source can confirm that the lab results came back and  Matt Heldt is NOT the father.

Carry on.

Just to add fuel to the fire...my son lives in Humphrey Hall.  He said he hasn't seen HE or HC since classes resumed.

Now thats something to lose our collective crap over -- then again, why not test the waters with out an agent to get some feedback.

Classes started Tuesday? Is it that unusual to not see those guys over the course of 2-3 days?  More concerned about HC as I expected HE to go.

If someone was transferring, wouldn't they need to stay in class to remain eligible?

I'm curious - for the people who think it's a no-brainer that HE will go, why hasn't he announced yet?  I know the deadline isn't here yet, but there are quite a few kids - many far less talented than Henry - who have declared:  http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2016/03/30/nba-draft-early-entry-list-underclassmen-declaring

If it's such an easy decision, what's he waiting for?

Not saying he won't leave...but it's clearly a more difficult decision than some seem to think.

I assume Henry, his family, and Wojo are all up to date on his choice. Those are the important players. He'll make a formal announcement when he's ready to share that news with the rest of us. Not a big deal when he decides to do it. And won't be a shock when he leaves for the NBA.

muhoops1

Because it's their dorm he runs across the players regularly.  I guess it could be something or nothing at all.  It was interesting that he brought up HC because I assumed that next year it was essentially his team.  Who knows.  After reading that article about Deonte and Jamaal kids leave for all kinds of reasons.

It would explain our interest in multiple PG's though.....

Agree with what you say.   I'm referring to all the posters who seem to think it's a foregone conclusion, and has been since the day Henry stepped on campus. If it was so easy and obvious, there would be no reason to wait.

I think there's a better chance than not that he is gone, but it clearly is not 100%.
