Inclusion in the tournament is not based on what you do once you get there, it's based on what you do in order to get there. Syracuse did not do enough to warrant inclusion. They could win the title and they would still not be worthy of being a tournament team.

The NCAA suspended him. Then the NCAA chose to ignore their own suspension when determining inclusion. That makes no sense. What is the point of a suspension if it isn't enforced?

I do hate Syracuse for reasons I have previously stated and last night just threw fuel on the fire. Replay showed pretty clear foul on the supposed "block" by Syracuse on Gonzaga's last shot attempt that gets called in all levels of basketball 999 out of 1000 times. The problem is, you could sit in a room full of 'Cuse fans and watch that replay 100 times and 100 times they are going to say "clean block".

Syracuse's violations were minor compared to UNC's. You have academic fraud unmatched in NCAA history. I know money talks, but if NCAA vacated Penn State's wins and UMass' Final Four and virtually shut down SMU, they almost have to throw the book at Chapel Hill.

Let's just "self ban" Wojo for the Wisconsin game, B1G non conference game we get, and non conference tourney, plus all BE games against teams not named DePaul and St. John's. Then we'll be undefeated or close to it with Wojo coaching and just have a "rough patch" without our leader on the bench. Obviously we will be deserving of a 1 seed every year then.
