Mobile device issue
« on: March 21, 2016, 03:16:22 PM »
I updated my Ipad and Iphone and suddenly I can't log on, I'm 100% sure I've been typing in my password correctly. Is there some reason for this?

Yes there is a reason.  But I don't know what it is :)

I'd try clearing all the browser cache and cookies to see if that helps.  Also, is there any error given?  Or what shows up after you click "log in" (or hit enter)?

Haha I walked into that one.

Ok I'll give that a try.  It'll say incorrect username and password.  Also when I try to use the site without logging on it'll keep coming up that I'm out of log in attempts even when I'm not pressing log in.

OK, I do see those errors from back on March 3, but that's it...

Password incorrect - BagpipingBoxer

Of course, that's only for a single IP address, you might have had others that I don't see from another IP.

Let me verify - if you log out of your PC and log in this isn't an issue?  I assume that's where you're posting from.  Of course, if you log out an can't log in then you won't be able to reply.  e-mail muscoop@muscoop.com if you get locked out completely.

Huh it's definitely happened more recently than March 3rd to me. It must be something up with my phone then. I'll try to log out on my computer

Is chrome remembering your password?  Or are you typing it?

(sorry, I know it's the "did you try resetting you computer" type of question, but I have to ask)

I logged out and hand typed it back in.

Weird.  I just logged out and back in with Firefox with no issue.  So, it doesn't appear to be a problem with the website, or the browser.  So it's just you!  ;D

I'm actually sorta stumped.  Perhaps a caps issue with your username?  Or an extra space at the end of either your username and password (if you are using form auto-fill).

Hey did you ever figure out this problem?  I hit the wrong button and logged out of Scoop on my phone last night.  I logged back in on my PC this morning but can't log back in on my phone.  I know I have the right password and I'm typing it in (not a saved password).  I am using Safari.  Any ideas?
