Good game to mention this.  Bad calls happen too often, and in this first half more of them favored Xavier.

Disagree.  Started out grossly favoring UW.  Later favored XU.  Roughly 50:50 right now with a sludge bad call edge favoring UW.

X missed free throws, lay ups and Myles Davis was a disaster. Hopefully X pours it on in second half.

On side note, Buddy Hield is just a scoring machine and NBA teams that pass on him will regret it.

Agree but Wisconsin hasn't played well either.

X gets two fouls on Happ and Brown, then jacks quick threes on 2 of 3 trips.

The dumb, it burns.

Agree with X shot selection, but there is some very questionable officiating right now.

Second half is ridiculous. Terrible reffing, calling phantoms on both ends.

Xavier with 11 players taller than 6'5.  Marquette with 10 players, 3 taller than 6'6.

I don't understand why, when the less deep team is in foul trouble, you don't pound the ball inside.  Kentucky made the same mistake yesterday.

I think Gard will do well, but I'm really glad Ben Jacobsen isn't going to be the coach of the Badgers next year.

Jalen Reynolds just got a rebound, an assist to himself, and a dunk all in the same play!
Have some patience, FFS.

Who is a senior on this xavier team? I know Farr is, Sumner and Macura are only freshman and Davis is a junior.

Y'all are missing a fantastic A&M UNI game. TAMU down 11 with a minute left and game is now tied with 1.9 seconds left. Shades of Marquette over Davidson
TAMU

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Really unfortunate for UNI.  Coach should have told them if you get in trouble and haven't used your dribble.  Hold the ball, count to 9 and then throw the ball as far down court as you can.

Yup, UNI has been pissing down their leg the last minute, just like Davidson did.  Crazy.

Both Marquette and TAMU contributed to their opponent's peeing down their leg

One thing I've noticed the last 4 days is that Marquette's players seem thin/skinny/small compared to most of the teams playing in this tournament. I hope the strength and conditioning beefs up over the summer.
