There is absolutely zero benefit to Marquette if the Big East expands. Right now Big East is averaging five teams a year in the NCAA tournament. We don't want add another mouth to feed . In addition, the conference is plenty competitive enough for us as it is presently structured.

Wichita State is a public community college.  They have low academic standards.  They look nothing like a Big East school.  They have a great fan base and following but their current success is based off of one coach.  There is no way they would ever be considered IMO.

Yeah... we have that too.  Ours is called UW-Milwaukee, but the coach left a long time ago.
