With no NIT bid, Marquette's season ends

Unlike the bracket for the NCAA Tournament, the NIT field didn’t leak out ahead of time on Sunday night. That meant Marquette had to sweat it out until the last minute, when the final teams were unveiled and the Golden Eagles (20-13) were not included in the field.
