Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but are there players (especially PF) who are eligible for a grad transfer that we might look at if they decide to bolt?

Someone who is more obsessed with this than me has to know a way to create a list of players who are four years into college with only three seasons played.

SaveOD238

So I've been thinking about this on and off all day...and I thought of a potentially eligible PF with good rebounding skills that we could go after.

Steve Taylor.

If he graduates from Toledo, he would be eligible to play elsewhere immediately.  Why not us?

Jay Bee

Can't imagine he's got the units (nh), but Cullen Russo of Fresno St. would be a fit.

Bisping would be ideal.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

KampusFoods

Not the PF people are itching for, but New Mexico's Cullen Neal will graduate and transfer, and will have 2 seasons of eligibility right away (he redshirted). 6-5 guard played for his dad at UNM. 12 ppg. Can't imagine we'll look at him, but just another name to add to the list.

I would love to add Neal if someone unexpected transferred. Howard and PF need to be priority right now. But if a sacar or Sandy suddenly up and left, bring on Neal!

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

New name: Malcolm Bernard, 6-5 SF from Florida A&M. 14 pts 7 rebounds per game.

Again not the banger PF everyone yearns for but hey, 7 rebounds are 7 rebounds.

Interesting kid, good rebounder and great passer, but also terribly inefficient. That may be a product of the guys around him, however, FAMU had literally the worst offense in the country in terms of efficiency, so it's tough to gauge how good he may have been on a better team.

7 rebounds certainly aren't 7 rebounds (Henry's count as 0.2), but this kid did have a solid DR% of 20%. (and assist rate of 32%!.. wth?)

At any rate, probably not the right guy.

Guys

If we are rebuilding I suggest we suck it up and rebuild. Bringing more stiffs to bring stiffs makes no sense. I have no problem losing 30 games next year if it means we are building a program. Don't chase after stiffs and hope to be slightly better. If you believe in Steve, give him time.

I am not a fan of a long rebuild, but would prefer to follow a plan. I might not agree with a revamp of the type of player we want and that is fine. We obviously are going a new direction.

PGsHeroes32

Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Celtic Truth

RJ White- UNC Greensboro

I have heard nothing about him saying that he wants to transfer but he fits what we are looking for. He was a RS JR this year and he's 6'8 280lbs. He averaged 12pts, 7rebs and 62% fg.

Anybody have any more info on this guy?

brewcity77

Not sure White could play with Fischer.

KampusFoods

Canyon Barry - guard out of College of Charleston. 19.7 PPG. Again just another name on the list.

No one is saying to not bring in grad transfers. Grad transfers should definitely be part of the plan. They are a great way to fill holes in your roster.

I've heard there's lots of depth to his game.

He would be a grand addition to this team
