Well done by John Dawson in his half season at Liberty.  Led the team in scoring.  Looks like he's found a nice new "home".

Great kid.  Really glad he found a place that works great for him.

Happy for him and glad to see him take advantage of the opportunity

Good for Magic - great kid, fine family. Not a D1 point guard though.

He just had a pretty good year in D-1.

It boggles the mind that you couldn't just leave the post at one sentence.  I don't understand the compulsion to take shots at other posters by taking gratuitous shots at kids.

Turned it over 3.5 times a game. Imagine the vitriol for the Marquette cagers who do that.

Huh? How is my reply a)compulsive, b) a shot at another poster or c) a gratuitous shot at a kid?

Perhaps some assumptions on my part.  I think it's obvious that it's a shot at a kid -- in that context there's really no reason that you couldn't just make the positive comment without gratuitously denigrating his skills.  By assuming that it was a compulsive shot at another poster (i.e., having to argue you were right about something), I was giving you the benefit of the doubt.  I guess you just like taking shots at kids.

Warrior fan posted John's stats and gave him a shout out for a great year. Those stats included 3.4 apg and 3.3 tpg. Those kind of numbers are not good for a point guard and would almost surely be even worse against Big East competition. I like John, I like his family and wish them all nothing but the best. I should have just said I was glad he landed at a good spot - didn't mean to be snarky.

And that was precisely my point.

Probably shouldn't have been so snarky myself.
