i think that's just for Louisiana.  unless the other states have worked together on a concurrent penalty, there are others waiting for their kick at this cat.  darren just might get to do a tour de prisons.  a little change of scenery could make the time fly e'nna?

No this is a federal court.  He is trying to get all the states to agree to a global deal that he can serve in federal prison in exchange for testifying against his co-defendants.
