I was there for many, many games during the Quentin Richardson era (also Bobby Simmons and Lance Williams, as the coach, Pat Kennedy, cheated like hell).

Place STILL wasn't full, but almost always 10K+ in the house and they had some big crowds for Cinci, Ville, MU and a few others. The "Horizon" rocked pretty good when reasonably full.

I have many friends who were around for the Aguirre/Cummings era and said DePaul hoops was THE basketball story in Chicago. Far surpassing the Bulls in the pre-Michael years.

My mother's is a DePaul alum, and the first few years they were at the Horizon, it was almost always a sell out.

There have not been any problems getting tickets for the past 30 years, nor will there be any for the next 30.

The stars aligned and I have the weekend of the DePaul game off.   I am going to journey from the hinterlands to the game on Saturday.   Is there any possibility that it is going to be sold out and I should try to get my tickets in advance?   From what I remember from the last time I went, the arena is only 2/3 full and half of those are MU people.   Will I be able to just walk up and get tickets?

Ha, depaul, sold out? Hell they might pay you to grab a seat.

I was in the Chicago media. I covered a lot more Illini basketball than DePaul, though.
