Not really. He was classified as a sophomore, because Wade was not academically eligible his freshmen year. The oddity about it is that if Wade had gotten his degree in four years he would of been given a fourth year to play, if he stayed five years. Then they would of had to reclassify his sophomore stats as freshmen stats. Wade played two years and is listed in the MU record books as the highest scoring sophomore with 571 points and the highest scoring junior with 710 points.
