D Wade was named Eastern Confernce NBA player of the Week. This is a very nice honor . If you consider his aging knees etc for him to be able to play it this level speaks to the brilliance of his basketball IQ and timeless ability.

Also he has a great future coach in young Zaire who pumped him up with some very insightful text.

Were there any DWade sightings at the AL this past week?  Miami at the Bucks on Fri. night, and Wade sealed the game for the Heat from the line at the end.

Heat did their practice session at the Al and MUBB tweeted a pic of Dwyane and Wojo.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

On snap chat he was rocking the MU hoody on the team flight back to Miami so he was definitely reppin as he left the arena.

Well on average he's missed 25% of the season the past 4 years and even his BFF Lebron got tired of the rest program for Wade that was supplemented by the run-LBJ-into-the-ground program for Lebron (never missed more than 6 games / year when he was with Miami).

Compared to his contemporaries (LBJ, Bosh & Melo) he has slowed down the most.  And yes I realize he is the oldest played 1-2 more years of competitive basketball when you factor in college.

Wade is a shell of who he was.  Fortunately, Wade is one of the greatest of all-time so even as a shell, he's pretty good.

But he really isn't. He's just older with worse knees.

Those years with LeBron were among his most efficient ever.

Sitting out games doesn't make him a shell of himself lol. He's simply older.

3 years older than LeBron in fact.

Agree and also with age comes wisdom. He is one of the smartest players on the floor in the league.

LeBron didn't get tired of the rest program for Wade.  LeBron got tired of not being able to, as a player, act as the president of the team and make all decisions like he can in Cleveland.  He got tired of actually having a coach who called the game that he wanted to rather than letting LeBron grab the clipboard.  He got tired of having a GM who wouldn't let him hand pick his coach and run the coach he didn't like out of town.

The homecoming storyline was nice, the trying to win a title for his "hometown" team was a nice storyline, but him leaving Miami was purely a business decision.  And that business is running an NBA franchise as a player.

We really should get the correct spelling of his name, too
