Had not seen anything in depth about the new team chaplain, Fr. Laurance. Nice to finally learn something about him.

He's been a semi-regular poster on the Scout and BCB boards for years as MinnesotaJeb, though had to stop posting in his new role. He does still keep an eye on some of the sites, though. Nice to have one of us in this role :D

Chicos' Buzz Scandal Countdown

The administration pushed Fr. Kelly out. Squirmy.

Just a matter of time before the dirty laundry is aired.
"Half a billion we used to do about every two months...or as my old boss would say, 'you're on the hook for $8 million a day come hell or high water-.    Never missed in 6 years." - Chico apropos of nothing

Why do we want a "calming influence" from our chaplains?

Frankly, a little less, "That's ok, my son," and a healthy increase in, "Make that free throw or you are going straight to hell!" might be just what this young team needs from its spiritual counselor.

Seems my having a username on scoop endows me with just as much credibility and esteem as Chicos.

Once board guy always a board guy.

I'm sure the good Father is a Scoop lurker, even if he can't post.

Hope all is well Fr. Laurance.

Wasn't he like 90?  Not sure pushed out is right, maybe wheeled out.
