still in prayer mode here-peace and strength to all of those involved

Hopping on a plane in a few hours to get out there....rushed back into surgery due to internal bleeding.  Definitely could use some good thoughts for him.  I know he planned on watching the MU game today, but couldn't for obvious reasons.

He watched MU beat Butler, then rushed to hospital....emergency surgery including resuscitation needed.  Lots of blood transfused, but he is recovering.  Scary couple of days.  Damn lucky to be alive.  Told me last night, "nice win against Butler!"

He's a true warrior.

our health is sometimes taken for granted until illness comes, especially of the young. as hard as it sounds, do not fear or exude fear; rather, show strength through prayer. it validates faith and faith encourages, and heals, all of you.  i know first hand that prayer works in the most subtle of ways.  prayers are for you cbb and your family.  that all of you can/will be strong for your brother-in-law and friend.  it will show him and his care takers the strength and the power and the will to get better.  he has MANY reasons to conquer this... God bless

Keep them coming.  Some decent news yesterday, which is always a good thing.

One quick update, and I am gone.

He is doing better.  There is no cure, unfortunately.  But progressing.  He will have battles for a long time.  Please keep him in your prayers.  He sounded better this week than I remember in the last year.
