Duane.  We were DOA until he hit his 3s

Period.

Duane and Luke both were studs. I would give it to Duane for play down stretch although Luke made critical baskets and had a great feed to Duane so I would be fine if Luke got it.

Forgot to add - HE has another double-double and he's only got a couple of mentions in the STOG discussion. Are we getting spoiled?

Yes we are, but this game I think it's legitimate. Those tos were brutal

Are we getting jaded?

Double-doubles hardly rate a mention.

Heldt.  Came in last five minutes and keep the lead about the same while MU was in trouble and Fischer on bench.

Everyone else in my opinion, no.

Wilson was 5 for 14, but 4 for 9 from three with big threes in second.
Henry, no  15 and 10 though with 6 turnovers including a pass into the stands.
Carter had 8 assists, 4 steals but 5 turnovers
Cheatham had 15, but had shots blocked and 5 turnovers
Cohen, oh no.  Two wide open three airballsi
Fischer had two rebounds

So, give it to Heldt.

Nyg, Duane made some clutch shots at the end.  DuWil, like the rest of the starters, had some major stink today.

I'm going with my boy from Appleton.  Matt...SOTG

Tower?   Then quoting NYG?   Whu?
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Quality edit.    BTW, it doesn't matter what we say, Rocky is going to do whatever he damn well pleases somewhere around Monday.

Despite our scoop membership fees.

Duane
HE had some dumb turnovers in the last 10 minutes. He also sat a long time on the bench in the first half.

Loose Cannon

Henry, just another double double at the office. Others seemed Uneven.

I can't wait for Traci to put his game together, such a different looking team when he has his moments.

Honestly, double-doubles are rare for MU, we have a history of not having great bigs recently.

But nationwide there are over 30 players AVERAGING a double double.  That means close to 10% of teams have a guy that does that every night, day in day out.  They aren't as rare as we tend to think they are.

Duane Wilson for SOTG.

BlindboyPatSmith

Wilson....but what's the point....serious Ellenson Man Crush going on here so may has well call it for the season

Jay Bee

I can get behind Duane or Luke (nh)

The timing of Duane's shots makes me lean toward him... we needed it and he came through.

The portal is NOT closed.

I know.  It's sooooooo strange that people are excited about our leading scorer and rebounder.

jsglow

Chick and I can't comment. We're doing the Double Diamonds at Park City and didn't see the game.   2 days so far and I'm so stiff and sore that I can't move. Off day tomorrow. More fresh pow on Monday.

1) Duane - clearly the leader of this team with his passion.
1a) Duane's barber - not nearly enough credit
2) Luke - that hook was working (much to the chagrin of another thread) and he responded to Wojo's call to man up
3) Henry - always

DoggyDaddy

Wilson, the 3s at toward the end prevented, well limited, the packing down low.
