Is Diamond Stone the best freshman in the country not named Ben Simmons.

He has worked his way into the starting lineup of a veteran team that is ranked #3 in the country.

17/7 over the last 8 games. Almost 2 blocks a game. Shooting 61% from the floor. Shooting almost 80% from the line. Not too many non-freshmen with those kind of numbers.

I have him at #3

1. Henry
2. Haanif
3. Diamond

To answer your question, he looks very impressive.  He is on a very good team which allows him to not be *the guy* every day.  So it does make it hard to rank.

I would argue Stone's 39 and 12 vs Penn St is the most impressive freshman performance of the year, up with a game or two of Simmons.

Penn State just isn't the same team without their terrorist star PG.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
