Sure, it was a long shot with him anyway, but I was holding out hope...

Desert_Eagle

I figured we wouldn't get him anyway...I want Jamychal Green.

Did some more searching, here's a better article (and you can even read the full thing!)

MUFanInGreenBay

Does anybody know how much interest Jamychal Green has in MU? I mean do we have a realistic chance of landing him?

Chili, thanks for that link. Sure would be nice to steal him like we did with Nick Williams out of SEC country. Let's hope we can get him!

This article makes it sound promising....

http://www.i95ballerz.com/story%20-%20jamychal%20green.html

from the article: "I like them along with all the other schools recruiting me, but I don't have a leader yet."

SMART kid!!  he probably does have a leader in his head but has no reason to hurry and wants the schools recruiting him to present their full argument.

We should probably track potential recruits somewhere - perhaps on the scholarship page?

agreed.
no reason to head over to the 'other' board if it's all right here!

still scratching my head over where these scholies are coming from next year.

no offense tv, but this article was discussed in depth at the other board. i love this board, but the premium info at the other board, not to mention, the articles make it worth it to me. like rocky says, each board has its place - and this one is a big step up over rivals so far.

Completely agreed chili.  My comment was only a thought that perhaps we should keep a list here for reference purposes.  The more I think about it the more it makes sense that such a list should go into the wiki in some fashion.  Anyone (who is a lot more familiar with the recruiting situation than I am) up for adding it there?

I'm disapointed... Crater would have been a great PG and would have allowed us to move Scott over to SG.  I still think we need to pull a PG in this class.  There was some talk of an up and comer from TX (not Karon).

I think we have a realistic shot with Green but it's gonna be awfully tough to pull him away from Alabama.  That said, if we have a great year, it will make our value prop that more interesting and the fact his buddy Nick Williams is coming, can only help.

we'll still have acker and cubillan to play the point, enabling scott to play off the ball.  although the way crean is rotating interchangeable parts, i;m not really sure we have defined positions anymore, and he is recruiting like he wants to continue that trend.
