Every game since this date at least one team was "other receiving votes" (either AP or Coaches)  Yes a few times it was one team, in one one poll, receiving a low single digit number of votes.  But they were on the list the week of the game.  Most of the the time one or both teams were ranked.

Last time they played and neither team was ranked?  December 8, 2012 @ MU.  Bo v Buzz.  MU won 60 - 50.

Marquette beat wisconsin in 2012. I'm almost positive. That was my sophomore year. Marquette was at home, dominated most of the game and the BC audio guy trolled by playing jump around with like 4 minutes left.

Yep. We won 60-50. That was the Gardner coast to coast game, and the 2nd straight year we iced the game with the home run out of bounds play.

We went on to the elite 8.
