Starting to look like Henry could still be playing home game in MKE next year.

Has Henry #8.

And Stone at #17.

You're such an idiot Sultan. Haven't you seen our experts here saying Henry isn't ready. Who cares about the guys paid to make these predictions? He's not ready - not even close.

Sat next to the Utah Jazz scout at the ASU-Marquette game in Brooklyn.  At the end of the game I told him jokingly that Ellenson can't hit the outside shot so needs to stay until he graduates.

Without missing a beat he said,  "Wally?  Sure he'll stay until he graduates".

They don't have either Georges Niang or Jameel McKay getting the call.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Henry is not ready for the NBA.  Needs to improve his defense and strength.  He would be a permanent fixture on the bench.  Granted, these are things he can certainly work towards.

Henry would get minutes.  Maybe 12-15, but he would be paid and getting coached up in the process.  A #8 pick in the draft isn't expected to be a super star by any means.

Last year's number 8 was Stanley Johnson.

Yup.

Hank would've been a top 15 pick in this past season's NBA Draft if kids were still allowed to go pro right after high school.

Don't see see it.

He'd get a ton of DNPs.

That said, he's still leaving after this year. Lottery pick is too tough to pass up.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

If Henry has a shot at being a lottery pick, hes gone.

Henry will be a lottery pick.

He is absolutely not a lottery pick right now.

He has moved up in mock drafts since the season has started.

You couldn't find a recent mock draft with him outside the top 13. But yeah, they're probably all just wrong.

You should submit your resume and credentials to NBA express. Your insight is obviously needed.

NBA drafts on potential, the possible rookie of the year could barely get on the floor in China last year.

It'll be substantially more $ next year with the increased cap due to new tv money.

The rookie cap doesn't increase however.

Did Blake Griffin have a shot at being a lottery pick after his freshman season? Was he gone?

Did Harrison Barnes? Was he gone?

Did Tim Duncan have a shot at being a lottery pick after his sophomore AND junior seasons? Was he gone either time?

Again, for the zillionth time, different kids have different motivations to stay or go. They all don't go. Most do, but plenty don't.

As for those who say Henry's not "ready" ... did that stop Vonleh or Len or Miles or Curry or dozens of others who understandably left for the money and were drafted high even though they weren't "ready" for the NBA?

Lastly, can't we EVER live in the moment here and enjoy what we have? I have been enjoying watching Henry play,  and I am not going obsess about what might or might not happen months from now.

zillion dittos, We'll know at the end of the season.  I would bet Henry doesn't even know right now.  Lets just enjoy the time we have

GGGG

How is projecting about his future not enjoying that he is here now?

PuertoRicanNightmare

He might be a lottery pick. Who knows? And who the hell runs draft express?

I do know if he goes pro after this season he will get zero playing time. Kaminsky struggles for minutes and he's a grown man.  McDermott never got off the Bulls bench as a rookie.

I am not criticizing Henry, but if he were to get drafted high it'd be purely on potential and, as a Bulls fan, I can say I'd be disappointed if they had a lottery pick and used it.on Ellenson.

Kaminsky is getting 15 mpg.  11 of his last 12 are double digits.
