When you are a big man who is skilled and an elite student, you are going to attract considerable recruiting attention, and such is the case with 6'8 class of 2009 prospect Jack Cooley from Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, IL.  While Cooley already has offers from Loyola-Chicago, Northern Illinois and Southern Illinois, a number of others are showing heavy interest, including Northwestern, Illinois, Marquette, Notre Dame and Purdue.

Notre Dame has made Whitney Young's Anthony Johnson a top priority recruit from the class of 2010 and have offered the 6'2 guard a scholarship.  The Fighting Irish are also right in the thick of things for a pair of 2009 prospects--Diamond Taylor and 6'8 Jordan Prosser from Eureka High School in Eureka, IL.  At the present time we believe that Marquette, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame are right at the top of Taylor's list, with Vanderbilt, Minnesota and Southern Illinois also being in the mix.

While 6'3 class of 2010 prospect Lenzelle Smith recently stated that Texas A&M, Wisconsin and Southern Illinois are among his favorites, we also have reason to believe that as of now Baylor, Northwestern, Marquette, and DePaul are all in the mix.
