MU ranked 10th

By Todd Rosiak

Thanks to their victory Saturday in Madison, the Marquette Golden Eagles moved into the No. 10 spot in this week's Associated Press media poll.

MU (6-1), which was ranked 11th last week, hasn't been in the top 10 for a little over a year.

The last time was last Nov. 27, when the Golden Eagles rose to No. 8 shortly after defeating Duke in the championship of the CBE Classic in Kansas City.

I'll have comments from both coach Tom Crean and some players later this evening following the team's media availability session at 5 p.m.

Top 10 Program in the country right now. That's pretty damn good. I'm proud of where this program is at right now. Now let's get a victory in the NCAA's!

I'd prefer we focus on the rest of the non-conference slate.. and then the big east slate one game at a time.. maintain that top-10 ranking.. and then we'll sit down and decide if we want to accept that NCAA bid and make some noise  ;D
Once a warrior always a warrior.. even if the feathers must now come with a beak.
