Warriorfish

MU getting torched against a pretty basic offense.

Simple swing of the basketball, inside-out passing, and MU somehow doesn't guard the shooter.

MU is going to give up a TON of points this year.

Lighthouse 84

Not much D out of anyone tonight. Wojo quickly saw JjJ not playing any D and put Wally in earlier.

How many TOs are we going to have?
HILLTOP SENIOR SURVEY from 1984 Yearbook:
Favorite Drinking Establishment:

1. The Avalanche.              7. Major Goolsby's.
2. The Gym.                      8. Park Avenue.
3. The Ardmore.                 9. Mugrack.
4. O'Donohues.                 10. Lighthouse.
5. O'Pagets.
6. Hagerty's.

GooooMarquette

I'm more worried about the offense than the defense.  12 turnovers and it isn't even halftime.

Norm

Turnovers are killing MU right now. Guards are really struggling.

warriorfan 14

duane has been about as bad as you can be

BM1090

This team can be long this year. Could have a good zone. Wouldn't hate it.

not a very inspiring start. lose this and we could very easily be looking at 0-5

ATWizJr

DJO's Jaw

Was really hoping to not have to resort to a 2-3 again this year. Hopefully it's only temporary and we can improve in man, but it's definitely the right decision for right now.

Lighthouse 84

We're fortunate it's tied. Need to clean up the TOs and we should be fine.  If we don't, we'll be 0-2.

We need the point guards to gain experience quickly.

D Wilson is trying to do too much.
Luke gets lost too often on defense
Not sure what jjj brings to the table.  His role can't include shooting 3s.

Our youth really shows.  Having inexperienced point guards slows the learning curve for everyone

Two years JJJ has tried to sit in the corner and hit open threes and unless we are playing Arizona state he's terrible at them. So what is his solution? Drive and look good for the opener and then go back to sitting in the corner missing open threes wtf
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

I'm still amazed by this team's defensive lapses.  Guys like Fischer just not aware of where he is or where his help is...boing rebounds going back to the offense.

Didn't Duane Wilson shoot 50% from the field in HS?  I swear putting on an MU jersey takes your shooting touch.

Jay Bee

Halftime four factors HERE. Winning 3 of 4.. just been UGLY in the area of turnovers.
The portal is NOT closed.

warriorfan 14

at some point our 4 experienced guys gotta step up and start winning some games. james, mcneal, and matthews won as sophomores. wilson, johnson, and fisher have to step it up big time

To be fair, Wilson is 5-6 tonight and 1-2 from 3.  He just is trying to have more TOs than points.

The 3 Amigos won as Freshmen.  Makes you realize how good they were.

Early prediction for 2nd half.  MU stays with the zone and goes on to win by 15+.

Of course they also had Steve Novak to help a lil bit

All of the turnovers are making me miss Derrick.

JjJ needs to improve for Wojo to keep playing him.  He's too careless with the ball and with his D.

Nice reverse by Haanif.
