Here are some photos from the annex last night.  They are a bit dark since I took them with my cell phone.

Also I'd like to give dap to MarqPTM who started a F the Badgers chant with 28 seconds in the game.  The second to last picture is everyone joining in in the chant.

TallTitan,

Your kudos to MarPTM for starting a  "F" cheer takes the a great occasion and puts a very unpleasant spin on it.  Please don't feel that you represent the Marquette that means so much to many of us.  Believe me students like you Marquette can easily do without.

I guess some of the alumni in the room marquette can do without too...its a rivalry, it happens

Shut up. If you have a problem with it, say something when it happens. Don't hide behind the internet. I'm sure you never once got rowdy in your entire life. Clearly if you can't have a little fun, you clearly are one of the alumni that Marquette 'can do without.'

Having said that, I'm ashamed that the Marquette alumni base is so tight-assed, and hope that I can have fun after I graduate.

Next game, I would recommend the Raynor library for a viewing party.

And the winner of the most judgemental post of the year goes to.....whoffman!!! congrats, you've won yourself a Brian Butch Jersey and Ronald McDonald's socks.

BuzzSucksSucks

Don't sweat it whoffman.  These are probably guys who also make a point of highlighting the value of a jesuit education.

why is this even happening? we beat wisconsin last night and the best some people can do is rip on other marquette fans? its pretty pathetic to say the least. talk about the game or something, not who is the "better" fan and more important to the school.  and since when were grown men shocked by the use of a swear word? you don't need to join in the chant. judging those who are saying it, with other mu fans, in a marquette restaurant(not in public), is sad

TallTitan34

I'd say the place was 30-35% alumni all of whom joined in as well.

While youth has a way of showing its exuberance, trust me, years after college, you begin to realize what's class and what's crass.  And, more importantly, you understand what being a good winner is all about.

I will say, chanting that at the Annex, in our own basement so to speak, doesn't bother me.  Doing it at the Bradley Center in front of the public, not so much.  It embarrasses the greater MU community, of which the students are only a part.

No need for MU fans to bash other MU fans.  Locked.    :-\
