Classic match-up game....DJ was the man but Burke was the stud...but, Crean did a great job game coaching...especially with the lineup changes when we were in a lull to start the second half and managing through the foul trouble.

Marquette is substantially improved over last year, from top to bottom.  The only weakness we have is post defense, which will bite us at times, but otherwise, the penetration, jump shooting, and on-ball defense, and free throws have been much better than last year.  This was a HUGE win that will pay dividends come tournament selection time.

the epitamy of how MU should win this year - James taking over, Mcneal right behind, Burke and Barro holding their own for the most part, and some timely shooting from the role players. excellent win for many reasons, but especially because 1-wisky sucks, 2- out of conference win we needed, 3- if we dont lose to any of these cupcakes in the next 2/3 weeks we should be in the top 7 or 8 in the nation going into conf. play

I believe the trick is I have to miss the game...I missed all of it tonight, just got home.  The last time we won, I missed that game too. 

I know that feeling.  I missed the beginning and when I turned it on we were up.  Soon as I start watching we lose the lead.  I switch away and we go up again, I come back we go down.  I switch away and we take the lead.  I guess I'll just have to record the games and not watch it live so the season isn't ruined.
