Is the game on Saturday in HD?  hdsportsguide.com lists the game in HD but the ESPN.com viewing guide does not have it in HD.  Does anyone know for certain?  Chicos?

I doubt it

http://www.hdsportsguide.com/

It says 720p but that's just because that is the resolution that ESPN2 HD is broadcast in, but I have a feeling you will be seeing an upconverted feed from ESPN.  I doubt they are sending HD cameras for this game.

Thanks for your help.  Have to wait for the BIG EAST season for HD games I guess.

Probably much longer than that.  ESPN doesn't have a whole lot of HD cameras right now....they do football games and select basketball games in true HD.  They're adding, but it's expensive as you might imagine.

Many pro teams are doing some games in HD, but most are broadcasting home games only (yes, some exceptions) where they can permanently keep those cameras in the arena without having to pack them up and move them.

ESPN doesn't have that luxury.
