Tough one.. DJ on points, Lazar on rebs and pts (double-double), or McNeal on assists and pts (double-double)?

When poll ends, winner will be recognized in the block to the left.

I am voting for Hayward - he was spectacular last nite - fun to watch

Oldgym

Very difficult to choose.  I say DJ, because he hit double figures early, went to the rack almost at will, and set the tone for the game.

I was going with DJ because he played like the best player out there last night .. but Jerel's TEN assists got my attention.   Amazing.

jutaw22mu

without a question DJ, but you cant argue with the performances of the others.

MUCrew

IMHO, Jerel's 10 assists outweighs DJs points and Haywards boards.  Don't get me wrong, all 3 were studs, but his 10 assists is a great way to make the others around you better.

By popular vote, Lazar Hayward wins it.
I agree that DJ and McNeal had solid arguments for it as well.  It was a tough call all around.

Another thing to mention about McNeal is that he seems to have stopped making the out of control turnover (especially after a great defensive play/steal).  He is displaying the maturity of a Junior this year and I think it will continue.  Speaking of assists i looked at our stats this year and another pleasant surprise is Cubes >3:1 assist:TO while Wes Matthews disappoints with a 1:2 ratio.
