Celtic Truth

@clintjackson1: 2016 SG/PG Kevin Huerter is hot.  Picked up new offers from Xavier, Rice, Marquette, Miami, Maryland, Texas Tech, Penn State. Since the wknd

6-5 guard from outside of Albany, NY. Stock rising quickly

brewcity77

Guessing this is the Cassius Winston insurance policy.

Celtic Truth

I think he's more of a shooting guard. And he's been pretty under the radar up to this point, so there isn't a ton of info out there on him. But Wojo definitely needs a backup plan for Cassius because he's obviously a highly demanded recruit with a lot of interest

Insurance policy? Or sign that Winston isn't escaping the state of Michigan?

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

From the little I've seen, Huerter looks like more of a point. His recruiting video bills him as such and he has excellent vision. Most of the reports I saw from EYBL this weekend had him at the point for City Rocks.

Probably both.

Probably both.

2 guard watching him, good shot, good offer.  Surprised Duke hasn't offered.  Like John Scheyer.

If has anything resembling the personality of Scheyer I'll take a pass.

I hope he's nothing like Scheyer. That guy's losing attitude complete sank the entire Duke program. I'm surprised they could even win a single game with him on the team.

I hated the way he was able to excel at multiple positions.

You guys really have no idea how big of a prick he was.

All very good players are pricks in their own way. Including many who have graced our fine uniform.

Exactly.  Comes with the territory.  There are certainly bigger d bags in basketball than John Scheyer and Duje Dukan.

It's not that I don't believe you, it's that I don't care. As long as a kid isn't landing in the police blotter or otherwise breaking the law and/or rules, it doesn't matter to me how nice or unpleasant of a guy he is. Obviously I'd prefer if every player who wears an MU uniform is a great guy, but ultimately I'll take an all-American who's a jerk over a friendly scrub.

Those are the same thing - i.e. if Winston isn't escaping Michigan, then Wojo needs a backup plan, a so called insurance policy.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

So why do you think he's currently a Duke assistant coach?  Evidently, he didn't affect this year's team too badly.

Ehhh, I'll give you Jereme richmond. Before his Duke days Scheyer flopped more than Manu and complained more than LeBron.

Not surprised at all. Look at the high school from which he graduated - bunch of losers.

One of the biggest pricks ever to wear a basketball uniform:

Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
