Our first dog's "official" name on her papers was "Murphy's Midnight Run".  That was our Marquette connection with her name.  We just called her Murphy, though.

That was actually Bob Dukiet's nickname.

I guess Majerus is "fatty"?  Thought "onion rings" or "mozzarella sticks" would be appropriate, guess they weren't feeling even a little subtle in those days.

His Majesty Warrior Nickname, because it will never die.  Warrior for short.

I would caution you on naming your dog after a current MU player,  Years ago I had an Airedale named DJ after Dwayne Johnson, watching MU games and DJ the player would make a bad play I would scream f*** DJ and the dog thought I was yelling at him, bad results.  If you want a MU name keep it generic, Hilltopper, Lanche, Warrior, Ardmore, etc.

Obviously you have selected the breed but in the future consider,  Standard Poodles had 2 Airedales which I adored but the Poodle is an unbelievable obedient and well behaved dog compared to my 2 Terriers (terrorists).

you could just use a former player to avoid that

Donedeal

If you had two, you could name one Donedeal and the other Shaka. But only if you wanted to torture yourself every time you call their names.

Lazar.   Butler.   Crowder.   I can imagine yelling "C'mere ____"   to any of those 3 names.
