MU now with a Top 20 Recruiting class

Sorry if this has been posted as I haven't been on the board since before the holidays, but worth seeing.  Good quick hit on each recruit.

20. Marquette, 4 signed prospects
Like his mentor Tom Izzo, Golden Eagles coach Tom Crean is one of the best recruiters in the business. Marquette reached deep into Mobile, Ala., to snare a top prize who just might become a high school All-American, No. 35-rated G/F Nick Williams. Crean and his staff went east to sign No. 90-rated 6-3 1/2G Tyshawn Taylor (Jersey City, N.J.). They traveled west to Texas to snare potential ESPN 150 player, 6-10 C Chris Otule (Fort Bend, Texas). And finally, they went into the junior college ranks to get top-20 rated 6-7 WF Joseph Fulce (Tyler, Texas, J.C.). The Golden Eagles soared to a top-20 class.

When their rankings first came out with Williams at #35 it seemed a bit high, since HoopScoop was the only other ranking that had him in the top 100.  But it seems they may be a bit prophetic as Williams has really turned it on this year.  Through 5 games he's averaging 28.4 PPG, 9.6 RPG, 2.2 APG and 2.2 SPG.  And maybe, most amazingly, he's only turned the ball over 3 times.  His ranking is sure to climb in the other services(if they actually pay attention to the high school season and not just AAU).

Nice to see another service giving them top 20 status, that's now two services that have MU with a top 20 class, HoopScoop being the other.
