HERE TO KEEP BALANCE FOR BERT!

We went to the 2013 Final Four thanks to a cheating program in Syracuse.

No we didn't, they (SU) didn't have the vacate that win or any wins from that season....see, now I must be in love with Jim Boeheim because I'm "defending" him and SU because of your malice with the facts.

From the NCAA  "The SU basketball program will also have to forfeit an unknown number of wins from the seasons of 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2010-11 and 2011-12."

HERE TO PROVIDE BALANCE FOR BERT!

Why whould we put a Final Four on a pedestal and glorify that?  The NCAA is all a crapshot, ai'na?  It's just a flip of the coin?  There is no difference between a first round loss and a Final Four run.  Just luck of the draw.  You win some, you lose some.  No?

Nope and never said here....good try, though.  Here, this might help.

Haha you believe that they just happened to cheat just about every year in between FF runs but conveniently didn't cheat those 2 years? Want to buy this bridge I own in Iran? It's great property.

What does fans picking the perfect bracket have to do with anything at all?

No, actually I believe they cheated in each of those years, but the NCAA isn't vacating that win...sorry.  Again, I'm dealing with facts.  Using your logic, then every team SU played in that tournament should get another shot, including your favorite coach that gave us Wadesworld.

If you read the article, it's pretty clear no one ever said it is a flip of the coin, including me...who wrote the article.  Not hard.

Nope, we lost to them to go to the FF. But hey, Crean actually got to an E8 at II, II with their forfeited win over Cuse in the S16! Congrats coach Crean!

You are the 1 who repeatedly talks about how Tourney success doesn't mean anything. Why look at 1-6 games when a season is 30 games long, right? But when it comes to defending your boyfriend it's all that matters, check out these awesome pictures of his FF! Thanks for letting me jump on your back Wade! And for being a partial qualifier so none of the big boys could actually recruit you!

WRONG.  Come on dude, you are a smart guy, why do you misrepresent so much?

I said and have ALWAYS said that I break the seasons up in thirds.  Preseason\non conference,  conference, post season.  I've never said the post season is not important or doesn't mean anything.  NEVER.  Not once. EVER.  Let alone repeatedly.  I've said, if you bothered to read, that it doesn't define a season for me. If a team sucks all year but gets hot for 3 days to win their conference tournament and go to the dance, did they have a successful season?  No.  They had a successful postseason run for a few days.  Just as a team can slug it out all year long, win their conference but have an off night in the tournament final and not make it.  Does that mean their season was horrible or unsuccessful?  Sorry, I don't view it that way...there regular season was very good, maybe great, but their post season wasn't.

Two different things.  Anything can happen in the tournament, this year's version proves out what it does each and every year.  Better teams lose sometimes.  I don't judge a team's entire value on what happened in one game.  It's part of it, but it's not everything.  I'm right there with Coach K, Coach Few, etc and have been since day one on this board.

Stop making stuff up.

Sorry, but Marquette isn't a low major.

The Process

I have no idea what to make of this thread.

What process should I be respecting here?
Relax. Respect the Process.

You're right Chicos!

It is really annoying when long time posters come on here and say the same things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

You know what Al always said: "Whether or not one loses his/her mind while reading Chicos' stuff ... it's a crapshoot!"
"It's not how white men fight." - Tucker Carlson

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism." - George Washington

"In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell

I was trying to be ironic, but that might have started something else...

Like most threads on this board it starts out well, then careens through the guardrail and plummets like a flaming wreck into the gorge.

Personally, I blame Bert every time it happens.
