If 12 & 10 didn't play another minute this season I would be more than fine with that.

Anderson has 9 pts (4/6 shooting) and 4 rebs at the half.  You'd be fine with that?

What's in the glass tonight?

Just poured some Pendleton here.

Until that prayer, MU scored 6 points in last 12 minutes, which included a three by Duane and traditional 3 pt play by JJJ.  Thats two baskets made in 12 minutes.

Derrick has zero points, had 1 against SH and 2 against Nova.

Thought Juan had best half of his season tonight, but can't do it by himself.

Considering how the wheels came off I'll take a 3-point deficit. Not having Carlino makes things tough. Need to make threes if Xavier is taking away passing lanes and the easy interior looks we saw early. Onus is on Sandy and Duane to extend the defense.

Mrs. Legs recuprating from some surgery, and her MU roommate brought over some black bean soup with a nice kick (more for me than for Mrs. Legs-gotta love those MU friends!).  A Pipeworks imperial stout is a perfect match.

Du hit the three and walked the next time down, shooting and making it as the whistle blew. Hopefully he's feeling it this next half.

Duane sitting with 2 fouls really hurt us on offense

On Duane's missed three a bit after that he spent too much time with his hand in the air admiring the brick. It's not just the confidence to take the shot, but the confidence to go after the board on a bad miss.

And as usual, Derrick will play the whole game...because,,,his stats deserve it. He also had two fouls, but did not sit. Hope he does not get into foul trouble. We will need his clang FT's at crunch time.

Yes. It's a flip of a coin whether he's going to contribute or disappear or make bone head plays. Because he is so unreliable (and frankly, even a "good" game for him really is usually not a huge contribution) I would rather sandy take his minutes. Sandy might not always contribute as much, as today's game illustrates so far, but the gap is not so great that it outweighs getting the younger player more experience.

Valid point, I think it's just too small of a sample size to know for sure how Wojo's huddles go.  I'm sure it's just part of the coaching learning curve: how to come up with something in every single huddle.  To Wojo's credit, he drew up a great in-bounds play that got Sandy a wide open look, just didn't knock it down.

True .. I think I've only heard 4-5 of these in-huddle bits .. but all of them have been fluff.   Keep waiting for some coaching adjustment speak, but so far zip.

Must be contagious. He is a better shooter than JJJ, however. I believe that JJJ's 3 point shooting is worse than Derrick's. Now that is amazing.

JJJ has very good instincts , his cut through to the three point play was a good example. Nice pass from Derrick.

JJJ plays with very good instincts.  He comes off screens/curls generally VERY aggressively and it leads to good things.  When he sees a crease, its full speed ahead, no hesitation.  Would have liked to see him convert a couple more of the shots though including nice midrange pull up from elbow (reminiscent of Vander junior year.)

Why doesn't that onus apply to Derrick? Just asking.

That was a head scratcher. I know we only got 7 guys. But he had 2 fouls and was playing like ass and still wasn't pulled even for a minute

Temptation small batch bourbon.

Obviously love the first 6 hate the last 14.  But i think JjJ has 16 minutes (guess) so we're only 9 minutes until the winning run!!!!!

**yes, i want JjJ to totally realize his potential and will be ecstatic when he does.  Really looking for the magic 25**

That was not a walk. His foot never moved--anticipation call by the ref. Is Burr in the house?
