I think what people are losing sight of is that fact that we are not a very good basketball team this year. That doesn't mean we're horrible or awful and me making this post doesn't mean I love Marquette any more or less than the rest of us do. We don't have anyone who can step up and be a go to guy on a consistent basis.

If we are tuning in to every game looking for a miraculous turnaround game and expecting to go on a 10 game winning streak it's just not being realistic.

Teams have great years and down years. Very few schools have the ability to maintain a consistent level of superb play. This is not a great year for us.

That being said, as someone mentioned a few weeks ago, there will be games we win that we shouldn't and games we lose that we should win.  That's the nature of sports in general.  You can't take the attitude that "I,m done for the season" or I'm not watching anymore." This team needs support probably now more than at any time in recent memory.

We will survive this.

Don't think anyone is arguing this. But right now on offense you could stick me out there and see absolutely zero difference. Actually an improvement is the only possible scenario.
