God be with you Nick.  Stay active physically..it's probably the best thing for you.

Julian Schwarz, Steimsma, and Lovette come to mind as guys that battled it and persevered.

Terry Bradshaw has been very public with his bouts with depression.  So has our own Trenni Kusnierek. Terry was hit very hard as he was winning those Super Bowls.

That's got to be tough. To be so young and yet so sad. Hope he's doing better.

Clinical depression doesn't = being sad.

It can though.  Sadness is one of the two primary criteria for depression (the other being a severe loss of interest), so many people who are depressed experience sadness for prolonged periods of time (+2 weeks).  Of course, depression is more than just being sad.  It involves a lot of other symptoms such as lack of motivation, sleep issues, appetite issues, etc...

Regardless, depression can be really rough and thoughts and prayers are definitely with Nick.  I hope he gets the support and resources he needs to feel better.

You're right. Didn't mean to oversimplify it.
