77-77.  Had a chance to win with last possession.  On ESPN 2.

RushmoreAcademy

Golden Avalanche

Had to be a career game from former MU commit Bowen. He's probably only been in double figures five or six times in career but exploded for 20 today. Hoyas needed it as without him IU would have strolled.

I feel bad that the interwebs are mocking the reaction of Crean's daughter now.  For Christ's sake, she is a little kid!
Have some patience, FFS.

I'm surprisingly cool with mocking children

Never ever cool to mock the children of those involved in a game.      Sad and pathetic.    Now, mocking Coach Crean for blowing an 18 pt lead and wondering when we can read Chico's choking dog peeing down their leg screed.......

Josh Smith got 3 quick fouls, hardly played in the first half and IU led by 10. Second half was all Hoyas, Smith was a force, and the game was in hand until Ferrell banked in a 3, they missed a free throw and Yogi hit another 3. Georgetown gathered themselves, game was never in doubt in OT. Indiana can really shoot it and move the ball well but they lack toughness and play very poor D.

I think Josh is the key to GTown's success.  When he's off the floor they don't look like the same team.  I was thrilled to see the Hoyas play tough in the OT after a bit of bad luck prevented them from winning in regulation.  Luke is going to need to get Smith in foul trouble when we play them.  And Derrick is going to need to shut down Smith-Rivera.

Maybe Joanie dressed the used car salesman today. Picnic tablecloth shirt, jacket sleeves and red tie predictably too long, and naturally has the vagina do goin' on big time.

Crean's daughter crying was hilarious. Joanie looked mortified for her.

If you think watching a child cry out of sympathy for a parent is "hilarious", you are miserable excuse for a human being.  I don't care who the parent is.

She'll recover, kids are resilient.

I'm sure an MVP trophy for one of daddy's basketball camps is right around the bend.

So, you post the link to encourage further ridicule, and then chastise someone for doing just what you are encouraging.
OK  ?-(

When I was five or so, I cried when my uncle's Notre Dame Niles (IL) team lost in the state tourney to Isaiah Thomas' St. Joseph squad.  Got over it straight away.

However the grief I get from my various uncles to this today is the tough part!   :P

I imagine it will be the same for Crean's daughter.

Did they televise your crying on national TV, and was the teasing you got from complete strangers?

On a related note...considering these three events:

1.  Tom Crean awards his own son the MVP trophy at an MU Basketball Camp,
2.  Tom Crean open-mouth kisses his teenaged son on tv,
3.  The Crean girl cries on tv.

On the Crean embarrassment scale, #3 is a distant third.

Don't give my uncles any ideas.  I imagine since it was a quarterfinal game or the like it was televised.  They will try to see if I am on the footage!
