WBBY Shootout
« on: December 27, 2014, 09:06:06 AM »
December 29-30-31, Concordia University.    Heldt, Ellenson, Stone, all going to play.   I expect scouting reports from some of the Milwaukee based scoopers.    Get out there and represent.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

I can't find any info on admission cost. do you have to purchase tickets ahead of time? Buy at the door?  Is capacity an issue? I wouldnt want to drive that far to find out I can't get in.

Also, the only game I can find on the TWC is the Neenah Germantown game.  Is that the only game televised?

Unless there's a blizzard or you have young children, don't stay at home and watch the game on TWC.

Go to the gym and watch these kids play HS ball so you have a reference to their growth when they eventually graduate from MU.

The gymnasium is on the west end of campus or closest to I-43.

Is it cash only I assume? If so, is there an ATM at the event?

Toss West running a box and 1 am doubling Henry every time he gets the ball. Struggling early only 4 points in the first quarter.

At game, Henry's got prototypical size for 4.  Couldn't have chiseled him better.  Seeks contact, does the pushing around on this level.  Good form on shot, unreal handle for his size, effortless, with time o game can be something else.

Rice Lake lost 43-42. Henry had 24 and 5 blocks if I counted right.

Yea, looked uninterested for the first 3 quarters. Really asserted his will in the 4th and single-handily fouled out a guy.

Heldt tall and thick...like he could fill out to be a serious tight end. Better competition allows him to show his tough rebounding. Nice drive to the hoop...hit the ground twice. But germantown the better team.

Just spotted a Tom Crean look a like.

Heldt is tall as advertised,  not as fast twitch explosive as Henry.  Can get pushed around sometimes.  Good touch.  Neenah doesn't hit him in high post or 3 land.  Unimpressed with the Neenah coaches "creativity" in getting Heldt the ball.
