Ohio State smacked around on national TV (albeit by a quality team) and Michigan State loses at home to Texas Southern. That conference has had some really bad losses this season.

wadesworld

Well, that certainly doesn't help Marquette given that we lost to both of those teams.

After Wisconsin and maybe Ohio State there's not much in the BIG this year. Some teams are OK (Maryland, Indiana, Minnesota, MSU, Illinois, maybe Penn St), some are bad (Michigan, Nebraska, Iowa) and some are awful (Purdue, Northwestern and Rutgers).

Tugg Speedman

Michigan lost to SMU at home today ... fourth straight loss that started with NJIT.

silverback

Texas Southern is awful. Bad loss for MSU. But, they'll bounce back the way MU recovered from that bad Omaha loss.

Part of their problem that the three teams you label "bad," were actually supposed to be pretty good this year.

Don't think you can even lump the OK and bad teams yet. I think Iowa and Nebraska have more conference potential than Illionis, Penn State(forsure) and Indiana.

that conference is going to be a dog fight.

This is a list of schools that have beaten Big ten(?) schools so far this year that I sent to my Wisky loving friends.
I know, I know.....NJIT.

I truly believe having Luke for the UW game, and I think we maybe pull that shocker off.  The Badgers looked like a team hungover following an emotional game just three days earlier, i.e. they were ripe to be beat that day.  And I think with Luke that afternoon, we would have done it.  He's clearly that big of a difference maker.

IU is looking like one of the better teams so far.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Others on this board might say you're exaggerating but I agree. This team looks so much better with him and it's blatantly obvious.

I feel the same way about the Omaha and Michigan State games. That said, I'm glad things worked out how they did. With Luke we would have beat Omaha, been at least more competitive with MSU and OSU, and may have never tried zone. In the long run, we may be a better team and Wojo a better coach because of those losses.
