Even though MU only has 8 players and played 10 games, 6 players have already scored 20.  Two players have already scored 30

Nam        = Points   Game (date)
Matt Carlino = 38, G Tech (Nov 27)
Duane Wilson =  30, Tenn (Nov 30)

Juan Anderson = 23, Omaha (Nov 22)
JuJuan Johnson = 22, ASU (Dec 16)
Luke Fischer = 22, Ala A&M (Dec 19)
Steve Taylor = 20, tOSU (Nov 18)
Derrick Wilson = 17, Omaha (Nov 22)
Sandy Cohen = 9, tOSU (Nov 18)

Two questions,

* How unusual is this kind of balanced scoring?  Or, how many other teams do you think have 6 players that have already scored at least 20 after 10 games?

* Will Derrick and/or Sandy drop 20 to join this group?  Will Luke, Juan and/or JJJ drop 30 to join Duane and Matt?

I don't think the two who haven't scored 20 will even be close to sniffing it this season.  JJJ has the best chance of hitting the 30 mark simply because he can get hot from 3 which is essential in the college game to put up those kind of points.

Nova is undefeated and ranked 7th in the country. Ennis is their leadsing scorer at 12 a game....that was before today....scored 1 point today.

Nova has only three players that scored more than 20.  All three (Hillard, Hart and Pinkston)did it today against 'cuse.  But this was also a OT game.

Hillard and Hart also scored 20 each in their last game against Temple.  No one else cracked 20 this season.

Jay Bee

Have been researching this off & on all week.

Has been "manual", awful process. Any suggestions anyone have on "game finders" online that at least show me games w/an X-point scorer in it for NCAA d-I?

Ask Pomeroy. If anybody'd have an idea how to come up with that quickly and easily, it'd be him.

He can just query because he has the individual game boxes in a database....... I need a query mechanism. I bother him enough on stuff, not going to him on this one!

Being able to score with a variety of players is critical in winning consistently.

A very good point your making. If we can get three guys playing well at a time it really enhances our chance in conference games.

PGsHeroes32

We currently have 4 guys averaging double figures which is nice.

Might be a little skewed as adding Luke takes away some other guys scoring looks but still its nice.

We have had 3 hit double figures in each of Lukes first two games. And he is the only 1 who has done it both times. So 4 different guys the other times.

That is good to have.
